Kenkokanri' is mainly made of pupa to increase the overall health of your Koi. Because the protein (amino acid) of the pupa closely ressembles that of the Nishikigoi, it can easily be absorbed by its body. The amino acids contained in the fibroin (main component of silk) increase the liver function, thus giving the Koi a brighter color.
